Daydreaming

Previously titled Stargazing, I know. I picked Daydreaming because she looked sleepy in this one. (She always looks sleepy, doesn't she?)

BY THE WAY Something that I neglected to say in my ref sheet... and something that will show up in my next one... is that Erika does indeed have fur, but one of her pet peeves is having it stand up. She always gets up extra early to flatten it down; even though it's quite short to begin with. It's like bristles to her whenever it's pushed up the wrong way, which happens quite often. Even close up it looks more like body paint than fur. But it's fur. (someone asked me once) Her ears she doesn't mind tending to because they fluff out and are less irritating.

This has been one of my most tedious works... I really didn't like the old one very much, so while I was on a revising rampage I figured I'd give this one a makeover as well. I am quite happy with the turnout, the hair didn't seem to need anything more than a solid color. The object of this one again was to make Erika look realistic. The one part that I don't feel fits in is the ear, which I may take a look at it later. (I kept the pdn version of it so that I can edit with the layers) I kept the lines to a minimum, only used them here and there. I like that look; I did the same thing on Tanuki and I like how that one turned out as well. (That one's a tad more anime styled, though.)

I did away with the background. It stole a lot of the action from the actual picture, so I made my own.

The only 2 things on this picture that I had originally were the face and the ear, which I did actually edit heavily. The hair was hellish to do because of the fact that I had nothing to look at and it just wasn't turning out right. I'm actually quite ecstatic over the turnout of the hair.

I also have a version of this I may base my journal css over. It's quite ~NNBTKish

EDIT I fixed the ear (hopefully) let me know if it's better, because if it's not I still have the old deviation.

EDIT I put the clothes due to popular opinion. Still wanting input, though.
